CEA Digital Patriot Award Presented to NVTC Board Member Bob Kahn

On Wednesday, May 11, NVTC Board member Bob Kahn, chairman, CEO and president of the Corporation for National Research Initiatives (CNRI), was honored as a Digital Patriot at CEA's 2011 Digital Patriots Dinner at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C. Dr. Kahn was recognized for his role as a co-inventor of the TCP/IP protocols, which laid the foundation for the modern Internet. Also honored at the awards were Sen. Tom Coburn, M.D., (R-Okla.) and Rep. Anna Eshoo (D-Calif.).
