NVTC Veterans Employment Initiative Launches Redesigned Website

March 9, 2018 - Did you know the Greater Washington region is the second largest region in the country for employers seeking IT workers? As the need for qualified tech talent rapidly grows, organizations are getting creative in sourcing tech talent and are turning to Veterans to fill tech positions.

The NVTC Veterans Employment Initiative (VEI) connects Veterans and military spouses to employment opportunities and provides support to member companies in their efforts to recruit, hire, train and retain qualified Veteran employees.

The VEI’s newly-redesigned website offers Veterans and military spouses an easy-to-navigate platform with job search and transition resources. The site also provides valuable vehicles for employers to connect with top Veteran and military spouse talent, as well as resources to help organizations train, develop and retain Veteran employees.
