Global Data Center Award

Data Centers continue to be the engines of the digital economy. As digitalization of businesses continues at an astronomical pace, and consumers continue to both create and consume data in rapidly evolving new ways, the ‘globalization’ of data centers is accelerated. This globalization serves two primary objectives: first, to keep local data local; and second, to offer geographic diversity to data center operators—be it third-party data center providers, hyperscale data centers, or captive enterprise data centers.

This award recognizes the data center company and/or their employees who have accelerated the globalization of their data centers. To qualify, your company must have at least one data center in Virginia (North America) and at least one data center each in at least two other continents (South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, Oceania, Antarctica). The company HQ can be anywhere in the world.

Nominations close January 12, 2024.
