Finance professionals honored for their exceptional contribution to the growth of the region’s technology community

McLean, Virginia (April 25, 2022) – The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC),the trade association representing the region’s technology community, today announced the finalists of the 2022 NVTC Greater Washington Technology CFO Awards and the 2022 Class of NVTC Rising Stars. In its 26th year, these annual awards recognize chief financial officers and financiers for their extraordinary achievement and excellence in promoting the economic development of our region’s technology community. The winners will be announced at the NVTC awards ceremony on June 6, 2022 at The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner.

“This year’s finalists showcase strong business acumen and practical knowledge and have made invaluable contributions to our tech community. Their financial leadership and commitment to growing financially-secure innovative businesses plays a critical role in making our region the largest and most influential tech hub in the nation,” said Jennifer Taylor, president and CEO of NVTC. “And, once again, this year’s rising stars represent our best and brightest NextGen leaders who will make great contributions in their careers. This year’s program attracted over 50 nominations from companies, organizations and individuals.

“We were very impressed with this year’s nominees. Our judges panel consisted of former CFO award winners who set the tone for this new wave of finalists. It comes as no surprise that the finalists selected are some of the most dedicated and innovative business leaders in the area,” remarked Olivier Bouwer, Partner, PwC. Bouwer is the chairman of this year’s awards program.
