NVTC Board Member Marta Wilson and Four NVTC Members Among 20 Finalists Named for 2011 Heroines in Technology Awards

Five representatives of NVTC Board and member companies are among the finalists of the 2011 Heroines in Technology Awards. Congratulations to NVTC Board Member Marta Wilson of Transformation Systems Inc., Claire Billings and Regina Cotton of Board member company Lockheed Martin, Catherine Kuenzel of Board member company Northrop Grumman and Lisa Tompkins of NVTC member company The MITRE Corporation.

Since 2001, the Heroines in Technology program has recognized and honored women who have devoted their time, energy and resources to help our community.

The 11th annual Heroines in Technology event will be held Friday, October 21, at the Hyatt Regency Reston. At the gala, AFCEA NOVA and the March of Dimes will recognize the finalists and announce the Heroine award winners in the following categories: Rising, Individual, Corporate, AFCEA International Government and Lifetime Achievement.
