All NVTC members are invited to participate on a conference call at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2012. During the call, NVTC leaders will seek member input on ideas and initiatives for the NVTC Executive Committee to consider as it compiles NVTC's goals and priorities to support NVTC advocacy efforts in Richmond during the 2013 legislative session.
Specifically, NVTC is seeking feedback and ideas from members to help achieve the following four objectives:
- Economy: Keep Virginia Competitive in a Global Economy
- Education and Workforce: Invest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Education At All Levels
- Innovation: Promote Research, Commercialization and Entrepreneurship
- Infrastructure: Address Virginia's Transportation Challenges, Promote Intelligent Transportation Solutions and Telework and Bolster Statewide Broadband Availability and Affordability
