Corporations & Compensation: How to Make the Best of the New Rules
Registration for this event is limited. Please see registration note below.
The government has issued new tax rules, once again, that will affect the way your corporation operates and compensates your employees. Attendees heard from industry experts and local CFOs who have already been through the updates and had some interesting tips to share. The program started with a short technical presentation from two experts, including information on the enactment of the American Job Act of 2004, the impact of new legislation on stock options and other compensation arrangements, and the impact of tax code 409a, and followed with an interactive discussion from the "front lines" that highlighted new valuation models, excess tax benefits, share-based payments subject to other accounting literature, and the vesting impact.
