The Power of Angel Investing Series
Become a Mentor Capitalist in the Greater Washington Region
The Entrepreneur Center @NVTC is continuing its series focused on educating current angel investors and potential new investors in the region. These nationally renowned workshops will be facilitated by John May of New Vantage Group and customized for the Greater Washington Region with local expert panelists as well.
The Power of Angel Investing is a series of education programs about angel investing, developed by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation with content provided by angel experts and angel group leaders from around the country. The Angel Resource Institute, the leader in educating angel investors, entrepreneurs, economic development professionals and other support service staff with the skills and training needed to successfully engage the angel investing process, distributes this education program.
The series is designed to provide tools and knowledge that encourage angels to become more active, share best practices, models, checklists and resources, to increase efficiencies and success in angel investing, and provide opportunities to meet angel colleagues and local experts. We focus on skills training and community building. Angels are encouraged to take all or individual programs in our 2012 series.
