Company Description:

The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) is where the region’s tech community comes together. Representing 500 members—from bold startups to Fortune 100 leaders—NVTC drives innovation, fosters connections, and advocates for policies that fuel growth and position Northern Virginia as a global leader in technology. Through initiatives in cybersecurity, generative AI, cloud computing, space, and more, NVTC empowers the tech community to shape the future.

Why this role matters:

NVTC’s Communities of Interest (COIs) play an important role in bringing NVTC’s mission to life. These industry-led forums convene technology leaders and subject matter experts to explore emerging trends, share insights, and build meaningful connections across the tech ecosystem.

The Senior Manager, NVTC Communities of Interest will play a key role in advancing these efforts by working closely with industry leaders and NVTC members who serve on the community leadership boards to design and deliver engaging programming that connects the region’s technology community.

Position Overview:

The Senior Manager leads the strategy, development, and growth of NVTC’s COIs and related engagement initiatives. This role convenes senior-level technology leaders, subject matter experts, and member companies to explore emerging trends, policy developments, and business opportunities across sectors including AI, Data Centers and Cloud, Cybersecurity, Space, Defense Tech, and other priority innovation areas.
