Masters of Leadership with David Rubenstein & Steve Case

The new season of NVTC's Masters of Leadership continues to highlight innovative management strategies and bold leadership principles from prominent public figures and business leaders in our country.

Our first event on September 17, 2020 featured David Rubenstein, Co-Founder and Co-Executive Chairman, The Carlyle Group, and Steve Case, CEO, Revolution and Co-Founder, America Online.

As co-founder of The Carlyle Group, Rubenstein has built one of the most influential and innovative private equity firms in the world. Case, one of America’s best-known and most accomplished entrepreneurs, was a pioneer in making the Internet part of everyday life. He is also the author of the New York Times bestselling book, The Third Wave: An Entrepreneur’s Vision of the Future

Case and Rubenstein will have a conversation about leadership and the launch of Rubenstein's new book, How to Lead: Wisdom from the World’s Greatest CEOs, Founders and Game Changers. The book is a compilation of a series of interviews with well-known leaders all exploring the same essential questions about leadership: How did you do it? How do you work? How much was luck? How much was skill?
