Glen Jones currently serves as senior advisor to the president at Georgetown University. Throughout his student-centered career in higher education, Jones has held a number of positions including president, provost, senior associate vice chancellor for academic affairs and research, chief diversity officer, and professor of accounting.

A long-time advocate for community engagement and effective governance, Jones currently serves as chair of the board for Southern Bancorp, Inc., a $2 billion Community Development Financial Institution devoted to strengthening communities and building personal wealth in underserved, low-wealth communities throughout the Mid-South.  Earlier this month, Jones completed his service as a board member for Baptist Health where he recently served as vice chair of the board and chair of the governance committee.  Baptist Health is the largest and most comprehensive healthcare provider in the state of Arkansas. His prior governance experience also includes serving as vice chair of the Board of Governors for the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA), chair of the NCAA Division II Presidents Council, member of the Executive Committee of the Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges, and as a board member of St. Bernard’s Healthcare. Additionally, Jones is a founding officer, past president, and former board member of the National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education, the recognized authority on inclusive excellence in higher education.

Glen received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Henderson State University, his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law and his Master of Laws in Taxation (LL.M.) degree from the University of Florida College of Law.
