Donna Morea is a nationally recognized executive in IT professional services management, with over 25 years of experience building IT consulting practices that focus on strategic, enterprise-wide solutions.

In May 2004, Ms. Morea was appointed as president, CGI U.S. and India. CGI Group Inc. is one of the largest independent information technology firms in North America, as a result of CGI's merger with American Management Systems (AMS).

As president of CGI U.S., Europe and Asia, she leads the development and management of CGI's business unit that is dedicated to delivering information technology solutions and business process services in these geographies. Clients include large organizations in government, healthcare, banking, insurance, telecommunications, utilities, and manufacturing, retail and distribution. Over 10,000 professionals serve the U.S., Europe and Asia, representing over $1.5 billion in annual revenue and approximately 43 percent of CGI's total revenue.

The contributions Ms. Morea has made towards the promotion of and growth in technology are widely recognized. Ms. Morea serves on the board and is a former chair of the Northern Virginia Technology Council, the membership association for the technology community in northern Virginia. In 2008, she received the prestigious Eagle Award as the outstanding industry contributor to the federal IT community over the past year. The Eagle Award is given to one industry and one government leader each year, as part of the annual Federal 100 awards. This was her first Eagle Award and second Fed 100 award.

Commitment to her community of colleagues and neighbors is paramount to Ms. Morea. Most recently, she became a member of the board of directors of Share Our Strength, a national organization working with community groups, activist and food programs, dedicated to ensuring that no child in America grows up hungry. In 2007, Ms. Morea served as chair of the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) ball in Washington, D.C. In this role, she had the opportunity to connect to a broad cross section of our local business community, and with their help, raised $1.3 million. She is now a member of the Capital Area NKF board.

The board of directors for the Crossway Community, a nationally recognized innovator in enabling families to achieve self-sufficiency, also benefits from Ms. Morea's leadership. Crossway offers a continuum of integrated educational and supportive services with a focus on outreach to low-income, at-risk families. In addition, Ms. Morea is a member of the Wesleyan University board of trustees, where she as well as her daughter, are now alumna.

As a leader in the Northern Virginia business community, Ms. Morea has recently become a trustee with a national organization which brings a "business voice" and perspective on critical national issues, the Committee for Economic Development (CED). CED is an organization comprised of 100 CEOs from around the country, whose mission is to sponsor and conduct policy research and develop potential solutions for major economic and social issues.
