Securing Space: Threats, Awareness, and Resilience

Counterspace weapons, GPS jamming, cyberattacks on ground systems, and supply chain vulnerabilities are increasingly common threats that satellite and space system operators must prepare for and navigate.

Today, space operators need more than situational awareness. They need to identify threats early, remain resilient through disruption, and recover quickly when challenges arise.

What we’ll cover:

  • The threat picture: An unclassified look at kinetic, radio frequency (RF), and cyber threats shaping today’s contested space environment.
  • Commercial Space Domain Awareness (SDA): How improvements in the space domain awareness and tracking market help operators see, understand, and respond to activity in orbit.
  • Operational resilience: Practical approaches for hardening constellations, ground networks, communications, and supply chains.

The bottom line: Resilience in space is becoming a business, cybersecurity, and national security imperative. This session will help mission customers, commercial aerospace providers, operators, suppliers, investors, educators, employees, and state and local governments understand emerging risks and capabilities and identify practical steps to strengthen resilience.
