Dr. Mohamed Reda, chairman of the Northern Virginia Technology Council International Committee (NVTC IC), and Mark Gibb, executive director of the Northern Virginia Regional Commission (NVRC), recently signed a framework for cooperation. The framework is intended to advance the transfer of applications of policy and technical innovations from overseas to and for the betterment of Northern Virginia.

“NVRC is pleased to be working with NVTC IC as our economy is becoming increasingly global. Northern Virginia and its business community have much to offer to the world and we must work cooperatively,” said Gibb.
“We are delighted to be able to join with NVRC in this effort,” said Reda. “We look forward to collaborating with NVRC in a number of areas that will lead to outcomes benefitting Northern Virginia.”
To assist with the strategic focus and proper alignment of cooperation, NVRC and NVTC IC will focus geographically on those countries that invest the most in Northern Virginia or offer the most relevant technical and policy innovations with application in Northern Virginia.
