Run! Geek! Run! Raises Funds for the Equal Footing Foundation

The seventh annual Run! Geek! Run!, the first 5K edition of the race, was held on August 24 at Fairfax Corner Shopping Center with 400 runners participating. The mild temperature and good weather was perfect for the race, which raised funds for the Equal Footing Foundation (EFF), one of NVTC's charitable arms. EFF is commited to growing a pipeline of diverse and healthy future STEM leaders by funding, launching, and sustaining “Computer Clubhouses” and fostering strategic partnerships with key organizations to solve technology access and adoption issues.
