On June 19, The Entrepreneur Center @NVTC graduated 17 companies – the largest class to date – from its FastTrac® TechVenture™ entrepreneur training program during a celebration at Seasons 52 in Tysons Corner. These graduates join the 56 companies that previously have graduated from the Entrepreneur Center's program since fall 2009. The program combines instruction from experienced business professionals, one-on-one business mentoring and peer learning to help participants evaluate feasibility, identify target markets and create a business plan to communicate the opportunity to investors and customers. Created by Kansas City-based Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, the largest organization in the nation solely focused on entrepreneurial success, FastTrac has served more than 300,000 entrepreneurs since 1993.
