As part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, The Entrepreneur Center @NVTC, in conjunction with Chantilly Academy, hosted “Spotlight on Success – An In-depth Look at How to Make it as an Entrepreneur” on Tuesday, November 15.
During the panel, Sam Aparicio of Ringio, Emily Richards of Sade Clarity and Nicholas Tolson of FitFeud spoke to about 70 area high school students who are currently enrolled in the Fairfax County Public Schools entrepreneurship classes. The panelists answered questions from the students and discussed their experiences in starting a company, including why they became entrepreneurs, steps taken to finance their companies, the importance of marketing and brand loyalty, and their biggest struggles and successes.

All three panelists are current or former participants of FastTrac, the Entrepreneur Center’s entrepreneurship training program.
