Washingtonian magazine has published its 2015 Washington’s Most Powerful Women, a list of 125 of the region’s most influential women in business, law, government, education, media, nonprofits and the arts. Thirteen NVTC leaders and members made the list.
Four NVTC Board members were recognized by Washingtonian: NVTC President and CEO Bobbie Kilberg, NVTC Vice Chair Anne Altman of IBM US Federal Government, Teresa Carlson of Amazon Web Services, and Karen Garza of the Fairfax County Public Schools. In addition, NVTC Board member companies were represented on the list: Marillyn Hewson of Lockheed Martin, Susan Molinari of Google, and Phebe Novakovic of General Dynamics.
Finally, the following member companies also were represented on the list: Laura Cox Kaplan of PwC, Crystal Patterson of Facebook, Arati Prabhakar of DARPA, Cory Haik of The Washington Post, Rosie Allen-Herring of the United Way of the National Capital Area, and Linda Mathes of the American Red Cross in the National Capital Region.
