2015 NVTC Golf Tournament Benefits Veterans Employment

On Monday, July 20, teams of top golfers from the region’s technology community competed in a full day of putting and driving on the links during the 2015 NVTC Golf Tournament at The Club at Creighton Farms, one of the top private golf clubs in the nation. The tournament benefited the NVTC Foundation in support the NVTC Veterans Employment Initiative, which connects veterans to employment opportunities within Virginia's technology community and provides support to member companies in their efforts to hire, train and retain qualified veteran employees.

The event also featured the annual John C. Lee IV Tech Cup Challenge, a "tournament within a tournament," awarded to the golfer with the best individual score. The Challenge honors John Lee's distinguished three-year service as NVTC chairman and the dedication and energy he has committed to the tech community. This year's winner, Pat Boyle of Northrop Grumman Corporation, shot a 65 to capture the Cup.
