Thirty-Three Individuals from NVTC Member Companies Named to Washingtonian Tech Titans List

Washingtonian Magazine honors the Potomac Region's top 100 Tech Titans in its May 2015 issue, showcasing leaders of Washington's tech world who are working to grow the region. Many NVTC Board members and representatives of NVTC member companies were named to this year’s prestigious list.

A total of 10 NVTC Board members were recognized on the list, including NVTC President and CEO Bobbie Kilberg, Board Chair Sudhakar Kesavan of ICF, Board Vice President Ann Altman of IBM, Teresa Carlson of Amazon Web Services, Steve Cooker of Monster.com, Karen Dahut of Booz Allen Hamilton, Bob Kahn of Corporation for National Research Initiatives, Tony Moraco of SAIC, Gary Shapiro of the Consumer Electronics Association, and John Wood of Telos Corporation.

Executives from NVTC board member companies constitute another four names on the Tech Titans lists, including Vint Cerf and Susan Molinari of Google, Jim Chung of the George Washington University and Fred Humphries of Microsoft.

There were also 19 member company representatives on the list: Matt Calkins of Appian; Dean Chang and Elana Fine of the University of Maryland; Michael Chasen of SocialRadar; Christopher Darby of In-Q-Tel; Justin Langseth of Zoomdata; Martin Ringlein of Nvite; Daniel Yates of Opower; Kate Harbath and Joel Kaplan of Facebook; Marrilyn A. Hewson of Lockheed Martin; Kay Kapoor of AT&T Government Solutions; Mike Lincoln of Cooley LLP; Robert McHale of Korn Ferry; James Patterson of Capital One Ads, Arati Prabhakar of the Defense Advance Research Projects Agency, who spoke at a 2014 Titans Breakfast; Don Rainey of Grotech Ventures; Jeff Reid of Georgetown University and David Thompson of Orbital.

The list also includes three technology leaders who have been honored by NVTC, including Steve Case, CEO of Revolution, 2012 NVTC Michael G. Devine Hall of Fame Award Winner; Ted Leonsis of Monumental Sports & Entertainment, 2010 NVTC Michael G. Devine Hall of Fame Award Winner; and Virginia Sen. Mark Warner.
