Virginia Senate Candidate Ed Gillespie Addresses NVTC

Ed Gillespie, Republican candidate for Senate in November, addressed the NVTC Board of Directors on Tuesday, Sept. 16, at LMI in McLean. During the meeting, Gillespie shared highlights of his economic growth agenda, which includes healthcare reform, tax and regulatory relief, unleashing American energy, education reform, and cutting wasteful spending and balancing the budget.

In a robust conversation with Board members, Ed Gillespie also discussed other issues of importance to the technology business community, including defense spending, entitlement reform, reauthorization of the Ex-Im Bank, taxes, immigration reform, STEM education, diversifying Virginia’s economy, insourcing, and enhancing the competitiveness of the Port of Virginia. Senator Mark Warner, the Democratic candidate for re-election, addressed the NVTC Board at its May meeting.
