During his presentation, Caplin highlighted plans for developing Tysons in the coming years, including the creation of several mixed-use neighborhoods around the four new Metro stops. He outlined how the development plans incorporate multimodal transportation, parks and urban aesthetics, and sustainable practices to enhance the quality of life and create “America’s Next Great City.”

The Partnership hopes Tysons will grow from 100,000 jobs and 19,000 residents to 200,000 jobs and 100,000 residents by 2050, making Tysons the 10th largest city in the U.S.

Tysons Partnership will be hosting many upcoming events coinciding with the redevelopment of the city. Click here to learn more, or view the slideshow presentation here.
