NVTC Chair Emeritus Donna Morea and Board Member Company Transformation Systems Inc. Recognized by Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce
On June 19, the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce honored business leadership and successful corporate social responsibility programs at the 2013 Outstanding Corporate Citizenship Awards at the Chair’s Luncheon.
Congratulations to NVTC Chair Emeritus Donna Morea, who received the James M. Rees Award for Lifetime Achievement, which recognizes extraordinary business leadership and philanthropy. Morea was honored for her unparalleled achievement and dedication to the community.
In addition, NVTC Board member company Transformation Systems Inc. (TSI) was honored with the Woman-Owned Business of the Year award, which is presented to a Northern Virginia woman-owned business for outstanding contributions to the community. TSI was selected for the award in recognition of the company’s corporate social responsibility program, Feed to Lead, which supports leadership potential in those who need a helping hand. Congratulations to Board Member Marta Wilson, founder and CEO, and her team!
In addition, Todd Rowley, senior vice president of NVTC member company Capital One, was awarded the Executive Leader of the Year for his leadership and community service, and Bob Chase, president of the Northern Virginia Transportation Alliance, an NVTC member company, was honored with the NOVAForward Award, which recognizes exceptional work to move Northern Virginia businesses and the community forward.
