2012 NVTC Golf Tournament Benefits Equal Footing Foundation Computer Clubhouses!

Warm and sunny fall weather greeted golfers on Monday, Oct. 1, at NVTC's Annual Golf Tournament at the caddie-only Club at Creighton Farms in Aldie, Va. This year's tournament raised $30,000 for the Equal Footing Foundation, NVTC's charitable arm.

After a shotgun start, teams of top golfers from the region’s technology community competed in a full day of putting and driving on the links. The tournament offered spectacular views and challenging fairways, ranging from par three to par five. After the tournament's end, all enjoyed a fine catered dinner.

The Challenge honors John Lee's distinguished three-year service as NVTC chairman and the dedication and energy he has committed to the tech community. This year's winner, Darrin Curtis of Deltek, shot a 70 to capture the Cup. The trophy was presented to Curtis by NVTC Chairman Emeritus John C. Lee IV of Lee Technologies and Seth Weise of Tech Cup Challenge Sponsor Sprint.
