2011 NVTC Golf Tournament and Stay and Play Poker Event Benefits Equal Footing Foundation Computer Clubhouses!
Pleasant cool fall weather greeted golfers on Monday at NVTC's Annual Golf Tournament at the caddie-only Club at Creighton Farms in Aldie, Va. This year's tournament raised $20,000 for the Equal Footing Foundation, NVTC's charitable arm, which provides local area students with computer access, mentoring and opportunities to explore their interests in science, technology, engineering and math through seven computer clubhouses in Fairfax and Fauquier Counties. Additional proceeds from a live auction and the second annual Stay and Play Poker event will also be contributed to the Foundation.
