NVTC Members Appointed to the Research and Technology Investment Advisory Committee (RTIAC)

The Center for Innovative Technology (CIT) announced the appointment of 10 members to the Research and Technology Investment Advisory Committee (RTIAC), including six NVTC Board members and representatives of member universities and companies. Recently established as part of Gov. Gov. McDonnell and the General Assembly allocated $6 million to the CRCF this year for the purpose of funding targeted areas of research with commercial promise.

Congratulations to NVTC Board Member Robert Kahn of Corporation for National Research Initiatives and Equal Footing Foundation Chairman Emeritus Daniel Gonzalez of Avison Young for their appointments to RTIAC. Thomas Kirchmaier of Board member company General Dynamics IT, Robert Ocampo of member company Grotech Ventures, John B. Noftsinger Jr. of NVTC member James Madison University and Thomas Skalak of NVTC member University of Virginia were also appointed to RTIAC.
