NVTC Members Participate in Financial Services Forum Roundtable Discussion
On July 13, NVTC Board members and members participated in a small, off-the-record roundtable discussion about accelerating new business formation and job creation in the United States with the Financial Services Forum, a non-partisan financial and economic policy organization. Participants discussed how to create the jobs of the 21st century and promote the formation of businesses that will create those jobs, as well as how to ensure American workers develop the skills needed to fill those jobs.
NVTC Board Members Rob Quartel of NTELX and Marta Wilson of Transformation Systems Inc. (TSI), Ted Dunn of Board member company Salient Federal Solutions, Tom Weithman of Board member company Center for Innovative Technology, and NVTC Members Sami Antrazi of 4Wave, Mark Casey of CFN Services, Craig Chambers of Cernium, Brett Coffee of CSCI, Darren Freeley of Pivotal IT, Brent Gendleman of 5AM Solutions, Sal Hundal of SoltecOne, Ashish Kachru of Altruista Health, Steve Markmann of Counterpoint Consulting, and Don Rainey of Grotech Ventures joined NVTC President and CEO Bobbie Kilberg, Financial Services Forum Executive Vice President John Dearie and other representatives of the Financial Services Forum for the roundtable.
The Forum plans to conduct similar discussions with the leaders of new and small businesses in key regions around the nation, and hopes to use the information gathered to help develop policy recommendations to promote job creation, particularly among new and small businesses.
