NVTC Signs TechAmerica Letter to President Obama Supporting Technology Competitiveness Agenda

On Monday, February 14, NVTC joined TechAmerica and 19 other regional technology councils and associations in sending a letter to President Barack Obama supporting the innovation agenda he outlined in his State of the Union address.

In the letter, the organizations outline several competitive and innovation-focused policies in support of the president's agenda, including: increased trade-opening activity with intellectual property protections; corporate tax reform; immigration reform; incentives for research and development (R&D); improvement in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education; high-speed wireless networks and next-generation Internet for all Americans; and more investing in information technology.
