Executive Director of Loudoun County Economic Development Buddy Rizer speaks about the Next Generation of Data Centers in Loudoun County

The first gathering of the NVTC Data Center and Cloud Committee for the new year was held the morning of January 10 at the Herndon offices of Dominion Power, the Committee’s Location Sponsor. More than 125 participants attended.

Buddy Rizer, Executive Director of Loudoun County Economic Development and NVTC Board member, led a panel that addressed “The Next Generation of Data Centers in Loudoun County” with topics that included land usage, design standards, permitting, power, and water.

In addition to Rizer, panelists included Stan Blackwell of Dominion Energy, Chris Mohn of Loudoun County Planning and Zoning, Stephen Moret of the Virginia Economic Development Partnership, Vinay Nagpal of InterGlobix LLC and Micah Vieux of Loudoun Water.
