Fourth Annual NVTC Foundation CXO Auction Raises $50,000 for the NVTC Veterans Employment Initiative
On April 24, NVTC hosted its fourth annual NVTC Foundation CXO Auction at The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner. The event raised over $50,000 for the NVTC Veterans Employment Initiative (VEI), which connects Veterans and military spouses to employment opportunities and provides support to member companies in their efforts to recruit, hire, train and retain qualified Veteran and military spouse employees.
During the event, attendees enjoyed hors d’oeuvres while bidding on and connecting with C-level executives from leading technology companies. The bidders competed electronically to win one-on-one meetings with regional and industry leaders, and some auction packages went beyond a meeting to include outings like indoor sky diving, curling and major league sporting events.
Winning bidders are guaranteed a meeting with their auctioned executive within 12 months, during which they can gain advice and perspective from C-level executives and pitch future plans.
In a special bonus auction, NVTC auctioned off a deluxe CES 2019 package which included VIP conference and keynote tickets.
Thank you to the winning bidders and thank you to all the auctioned executives for committing their time and expertise on behalf of the VEI!
