Del. Joe May Named Loudoun Times 2012 Citizen of the Year
Virginia Del. Joe May, founder, chairman and CTO of NVTC member company Electronic Instrumentation Technology (EIT) LLC, was named the Loudoun Times-Mirror 2012 Citizen of the Year. The Loudoun Times described Del. May as “an admired father, grandfather and husband, model public servant and ingenious businessman.”
Del. May is the chair of the Virginia General Assembly’s House Transportation Committee and a senior member of the House Appropriations Committee. He also is a senior member and former chair of the House Science and Technology Committee and Virginia’s Joint Commission on Technology and Science.
“Joe May continues to distinguish himself as a strong business leader, an influential policymaker and an innovative technologist and inventor,” said NVTC President and CEO Bobbie Kilberg. “He is an extraordinary champion for Virginia’s technology community in the General Assembly and we congratulate him on this well-deserved recognition.”
