NVTC Board and Member Companies Recognized for Veteran Recruiting
Eleven NVTC Board member companies and 14 NVTC member companies were named to the G.I. Jobs 2013 Top 100 Military Friendly Employers list. Selection criteria includes the strength of company military recruiting efforts, the percentage of new hires with prior military service, company policies toward National Guard and reserve service, and military spouse programs and policies.
The 11 Board companies and their ranks are: Deloitte (3), Booz Allen Hamilton (4), CACI International Inc. (17), HP (18), Northrop Grumman Corporation (26), SAIC (54), Lockheed Martin Corporation (55), CSC (61), Harris Corporation (76), Amazon.com Inc. (89), parent of NVTC Board company Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft (99).

Now in its 10th year, the list serves as a benchmark of corporate recruiting programs aimed at veterans. An annual survey conducted by G.I. Jobs magazine is one of the primary tools used to determine the nation’s most military-friendly employers.
