What is AI? How can it help my business? Even though the "how" of AI can be complicated, the "what" and the "why" shouldn't be. Join us on Thursday, 21 November at Attain, when Hedeer El-Showk, the CEO and co-founder of LoreAI, will lead us in a discussion that gives you a fundamental understanding of modern AI concepts so you can cut through the hype and understand how to use the most recent technologies to your advantage.

LoreAI is a text analytics startup based in Washington DC and Paris. Using machine learning and natural language processing, Lore helps customers automate search, collection, and extraction of data from documents so clients can spend more of their valuable time analyzing and synthesizing information.

Before starting Lore, Heeder spent several years researching and building natural language processing algorithms to analyze corporate filings; and over a decade building predictive and optimization models in finance. He holds an MS in Mathematical Finance from NYU and a BS in Computer Science from GMU.

This event will be held at Attain, behind The Galleria / Tysons II. A light lunch will be provided. Joining this event will enable you to network with local friends and colleagues in the Digital Transformation Technology (DTT) space and in Northern Virginia; one of the largest national centers for DTT.

Registration Policies

All attendees must have a paid registration to enter an event. Advance registration and payment is required. Pre-registration will close 24/48 hrs prior to the event. Once pre-registration has closed, all registrations will be considered a "walk-in registration" and will be assessed an additional fee to any payment rendered. Events for which payment is not required will not be assessed this fee. For sold-out events, no walk-ins will be accepted.

Photo Release
By registering for this event, I hereby consent to and authorize the use and reproduction, in print or electronic format, by NVTC or its authorized agents, of any and all photographs which may be taken of me at this event, for any publicity purpose, without compensation. I acknowledge and agree that all images, whether electronic, negatives and positives or otherwise, together with the prints, are owned by NVTC. I hereby acknowledge that I am 18 years of age or older and have read and understood the terms of this authorization and release.

Cancellations must be made in writing and sent to events@nvtc.org more than two business days in advance in order to receive a refund. No-shows will not receive a refund.
