Navigating the Compliance Environment for Government Contractors - How to Manage Risk, Stay Out of Trouble and Grow Revenue
The federal government is hot on the trail of fraud in contracting, and government contractors and their counsel face an increasingly tense compliance environment with new rules and increased competition. Although most companies have no intention of defrauding the government, even honest contractors can find themselves in trouble. A contractor can find itself entangled in a fraud investigation, False Claims Act litigation, or debarment. The best way to manage risk and deal with the problem of fraud is to prevent problems before they happen and know how to respond to crises when they arise.
The GC Committee has assembled a distinguished panel of experts to discuss fraud in contracting, the new ethics regulations, the reality about criminal investigations, the potential impact of debarment, and the company's perspective on risk management and competition in government contracting. This discussion will provide an instructive perspective on the new changes in the compliance environment and how to keep the company out of trouble and focused on increasing its revenues.
