Chief Financial Officer
Jeff Furst leads the finance, accounting and human resources functions for LogicTree. Prior to joining LogicTree in August 2006, Jeff held various finance and accounting positions over his twenty year career at companies including T Mobile, USEC, CFRA and the Solena Group. Jeff started his career in public accounting at Deloitte and Touche. He is a Certified Public Accountant and earned a BS in Accounting from George Washington University and a MBA from the University of Maryland.
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Joe Greeves joined GeoEye in June 2009 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and is primarily responsible for the overall management and direction of GeoEye's financial planning, corporate finance, accounting, fiscal reporting, and public company disclosure requirements. Prior to joining GeoEye, Joe served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Managed Object Solutions which was acquired by Novell in the fall of 2008. Before joining Managed Objects, he consulted for Lazard Technology Partners as its CFO Executive in Residence. Prior to that, Joe was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for OPNET Technologies, which he lead through its Initial Public Offering creating over $400 million in market capitalization. Prior to that, he served as the Chief Financial Officer for Fusion Systems Corporation and Ogden Environmental and Energy Services. Joes graduated from the University of Maryland, is a Certified Public Accountant and began his career as an audit manager at Touche Ross & Co. (now known as Deloitte & Touche).
Chief Financial Officer
Brian Helman directs all financial functions for Rosetta Stone. Prior to joining Rosetta Stone, he was chief financial officer for NEON Systems, a publicly held provider of mainframe integration software. Before NEON, Brian served in various senior financial management positions for NetSpeak Corporation, a Voice Over IP software provider. Brian also served in the business advisory service practice of Deloitte & Touche LLP and holds a B.S. in finance from the University of Florida. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Matthew B. Swartz
Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP
Mr. Swartz concentrates his practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investments, public and private securities offerings, and corporate governance. He primarily represents middle market and technology companies, investors in these companies, and the investment banks that serve them. He also represents funds of funds in the acquisition of limited partnership interests and secondary direct investments. Mr. Swartz's experience as a business lawyer includes representing issuers and investors in scores of venture capital and private equity transactions representing buyers and sellers in acquisitions of businesses in industries ranging from biotechnology, medical devices, semiconductor manufacturing, and software to government contracting, consumer products, and retail. He has also represented issuers in public equity and 144A debt offerings, as well as bulge bracket, mid-tier, and regional underwriters and placement agents.
Mr. Swartz spent several years practicing in Silicon Valley and Southern California prior to relocating to the Washington, DC area in 2001. Prior to becoming an attorney, he worked in business development at a large private biotechnology company in San Diego.
