Steve is a 1978 Graduate of James Madison University. In January 2009 Steve retired from SRA International, an information technology company listed on the New York Stock Exchange: Symbol SRX. Steve joined SRA in 1980 as a research assistant. He left SRA for a year in 1983 to "stamp" his CPA certificate at Coopers & Lybrand. He returned to SRA in 1984 as accounting manager and retired in January as Executive Vice President for Operations and CFO. By that time the company had about 6,500 employee and annual Sales of $1.5 Billion. Steve is currently managing director of SFX Group, LLC.

Chevy Chase Bank, a division of Capital One
Rich Amador is a Senior Vice President in the General Industries Commercial Banking Group of Chevy Chase Bank, now a division of Capital One. The General Industries Group provides commercial banking services to middle market businesses with annual revenues in excess of $20 million located throughout the mid-Atlantic region. Rich was hired by the bank in 1995 to help grow the commercial portfolio which at the time had loan outstandings of $45 million and by the end of 2008 had grown tenfold to over $450 million.
With over 20 years as a commercial lender, Rich has generated and structured hundreds of transactions with a wide array of customers in diverse industries, including printing, retail, health care, automotive, wholesalers and distributors, contractors, real estate, manufacturing, engineering, and technology. Prior to joining Chevy Chase Bank, Rich was with The Riggs National Bank of Washington for 8 years as a Commercial Real Estate and Corporate lender. Rich started his career in consumer finance with Norwest Financial in California where he was for three years.
Rich holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Whittier College and has an MBA in Finance from the Claremont Graduate School. Rich currently serves on the board of the Washington Tennis & Education Foundation, the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce, and is on the Advisory Board of Pine Creek Partners a local private equity firm. He has previously served as Trustee of the Fairfax County Public Schools Education Foundation and the Corporate Committee of the American Heart Association.
Rich has lived in Northern Virginia for over 20 years where he resides with his wife, two teenage kids, and two dogs. He speaks fluent Spanish, enjoys fishing, competitive tennis, and golf.
Orix Venture Finance
Jeffrey Bede is a Principal at ORIX Venture Finance, where he currently splits his time running the Portfolio Management Group and originating new investment opportunities in the Eastern US. Previously he originated and underwrote transactions for ORIX's Mid-Atlantic, Southeast and European operations and joined the firm in August 2007. ORIX Venture Finance provides enterprise financing to mid- and late-stage venture capital-backed companies via acquisition financing, expansion capital and working capital term loans and credit lines.
Mr. Bede has fourteen years of banking experience, primarily in the technology, consumer, healthcare and business services sectors. He has spent much of his career raising private equity and performing mergers and acquisitions for high growth and middle-market companies.
Before joining ORIX, Mr. Bede was a managing director at Chessiecap Securities, a boutique investment bank, where he headed its private placement and valuation practices. Earlier, he was a co-founder and principal at Capital Run LLC, a Seattle-based boutique investment bank that specialized in providing private equity, debt, and M&A advisory services to IT and consumer companies. He also worked at Prudential Securities, Volpe Brown Whelan & Company, Dain Rauscher Wessels and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.
Mr. Bede holds bachelors and masters degrees from Stanford University, and he earned an MBA with honors from the University of Chicago.

Edison Venture Fund
Gary Golding, General Partner, directs Edison's regional investment team in McLean, Virginia. He focuses on investment opportunities in Maryland, Virginia and District of Columbia. Gary also leads Edison's investments in communications and government information technology.
Gary concentrates on business software. Over his career Gary has served as the lead investor in multiple companies in the communications software industry which is heavily concentrated in New Jersey, Maryland and Virginia. Gary also seeks investments in companies selling technology products to federal, state and local governments.
Gary is a frequent speaker at entrepreneurial events and financing seminars. He currently serves on the Board of the Tech Council of Maryland and is Chairman of the TCM Capital Formation Forum. The Association for Corporate Growth named Gary Deal Maker of the Year.
Gary has been a venture capitalist for 21 years. He has served as a director of 21 companies.
Before joining Edison in 1997, Gary co-founded the CEO Venture Fund, a firm launched in Pittsburgh by three successful technology entrepreneurs. He was General Partner and Chief Operating Officer of CEO Venture Fund II. Gary managed the firm's office in Vienna, Virginia and made his first investment in the Greater Washington region in 1987. Gary started his career in marketing and business development after an internship at Penn SouthWest in Pittsburgh.
Gary served on the Advisory Boards of the George Washington University Graduate School of Business, Governor's Venture Capital Roundtable for the Commonwealth of Virginia and the Entrepreneurial Advisory Council of the Pennsylvania Securities Commission. He was President of the Pittsburgh Venture Capital Association. As a founding member of the Pittsburgh High Technology Council, he served as an Officer for 13 years.
