Masters of Leadership: Discussion with U.S. Department of Labor Secretary Eugene Scalia and SHRM President and CEO, Johnny C. Taylor, Jr.,SHRM-SCP

The Masters of Leadership is a new virtual event series produced by the Northern Virginia Technology Council and the Consumer Technology Association that showcases innovative management strategies and bold leadership principles from some of the most prominent public figures and business leaders in our country.

U.S. Department of Labor Secretary Eugene Scalia will share key principles that guide his leadership style along with insights on what it will take to restart the country’s economy following the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, Secretary Scalia will offer both short- and long-term goals and strategies for safely establishing a new normalcy in an effort to position the country for forward progress.

Following the discussion with Secretary Scalia, SHRM President and CEO, Johnny C. Taylor, Jr., SHRM-SCP
a global leader on the future of employment, culture and leadership, will provide his insights into "back to work" strategies and best practices for business leaders to consider as they plan for the reopening of America. Mr. Taylor is a sought-after voice on all matters affecting work, workers and the workplace.

This discussion will be moderated by Gary Shapiro, President and CEO, Consumer Technology Association and NVTC board member.

This event will be hosted on the Zoom platform.

Grab your favorite morning drink and join NVTC for coffee. Our special guest speakers Greg Baroni, Chariman and CEO of Attain and NVTC Vice Chairman, and Bobbie Kilberg, President and CEO of NVTC. Mr. Baroni and Mrs. Kilberg will both give brief presentations and then there will be plenty of time for Q&A. There will also be an opportunity to network and introduce yourself.
