NVTC Announces the Bobbie Kilberg Scholarship Fund for Aspiring Women in Technology

Dear NVTC Members:

Since Bobbie Kilberg announced her retirement as NVTC’s President and CEO almost a year ago, we set out to find the best way to honor her legacy and long-standing commitment to this region and our NVTC community.

In this spirit, we are pleased to announce the formation of the Bobbie Kilberg Scholarship Fund for Aspiring Women in Technology. This scholarship will provide financial support for women in our region who are pursuing higher education and who demonstrate leadership promise and potential in the technology field.

Bobbie is very appreciative of this opportunity to give back to the community in which she has served over the last two decades. The establishment of this scholarship fund serves as a continuation of Bobbie’s life-long spirit of community service.

To date, the fund has been seeded with commitments totaling $40,000 – including $10,000 from Bobbie and Bill Kilberg themselves.

The fund will be managed by the NVTC Foundation and all contributions will be tax deductible. We are excited about the education and career opportunities this fund will create for women in technology. We hope that you will join us in this opportunity to honor Bobbie. If you’d like to personally contribute to the Bobbie Kilberg Scholarship Fund for Aspiring Women in Technology, please contact Tyler Fearn at tfearn@nvtc.org or make your donation here.

Best,
Greg Baroni
Chairman of the Board, NVTC
