Northern Virginia Technology Council Announces Seven New Members to the Board of Directors
McLean, Virginia (September 14, 2021) -
Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), the trade association representing the national capital region’s technology community, today announced the appointment of seven (7) additional members to its Board of Directors. These technology leaders will join NVTC’s current Board members, offering strategic guidance to the council as it embarks on its next phase of evolution as the national capital region’s voice of technology. The new Board appointees, effective September 14, 2021, are as follows (alphabetically):
- Matt Desch, Chief Executive Officer, Iridium Communications, Inc.
- Rob Faktorow, Vice Chairman, CBRE
- David Quirke, Chief Information Officer, INOVA
- Jeremy Rissi, Group Vice President, Public Sector, Splunk
- Victor Hoskins, President and Chief Executive Officer, Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (Honorary Board Member)
- Telly D. Tucker, CecD, Director, Arlington Economic Development (Honorary Board Member)
- Christina Winn, Executive Director, Prince William County Department of Economic Development (Honorary Board Member)
The new Board members represent a range of the region’s most technology-forward companies, service providers and academic institutions. As one of the largest and most influential regional technology councils in the United States, NVTC fosters a vibrant community of innovators, offering collaborative support and promoting a culture for new ideas and technology transformation.
