Organizations are spending more and more of their IT budget on preventing cyber-attacks, yet breaches continue to happen at an alarming rate. This talk will provide an overview of the typical ransomware attack and why the current investments in cybersecurity cannot systematically protect organizations against current threats. The basic elements of the Human Firewall will be introduced and strategies to substantially mitigate cyberattacks will be discussed.
