Program summary:

Join a panel of former CFOs as they share their personal vision and path to continued achievement after having success in their role as CFO. 

Frank Walker is the Moderator of the panel and Baker Tilly partner.  Frank currently leads the East region financial advisory services practice.  Frank was formerly the CFO of CyberRep which was acquired by Affiliated Computer Services in 2003.   

Kevin Boyce, is the CEO of Higher Logic and is the former CFO of Ellucian.  Kevin led Ellucian through historic revenue growth and numerous recapitalizations with aggregate values in excess of $4 billion. Kevin is also a current board member for Level Access, Inc. and is a two-time winner of the Northern Virginia Technology Council’s (NVTC) private company CFO of the year award (2010 & 2016). 

Todd Headley, is a current director and angel investor at various growth stage companies.  Todd is also a lead director at Virginia Tech’s APEX Center for Entrepreneurship. Todd was the CFO of Sourcefire (NASDAQ: FIRE) from 2003 until its acquisition by Cisco (NASDAQ: CSCO). Todd helped build four D.C. area venture-backed technology startups, each of which was ultimately acquired – Riverbed Technology Inc., Roadshow, BioNetrix and POMS.  Todd was the recipient of the 2018 NVTC’s CFO of the Year Michael G. Devine Hall of Fame award.

Ron Kaiser, is a very active board member for public, private and not-for-profit organizations.  He is also active member of the board of the National Association of Corporate Directors. He has been the CFO of multiple public and private companies where he raised their initial capital, taken the company public, and help lead the eventual exit.  His history of success has led Ron to be recognized twice by the NVTC as the 2014 recipient of the Michael G. Devine Hall of Fame award and at the 2001 Community Service CFO of the Year. 

Heather Nickerson, chief growth and strategy officer (CGSO) of Red 5 Security, and former executive vice president and CFO.  Heather joined Red 5 Security after a distinguished career serving in various high profile roles within the United States intelligence community.  As CGSO, Heather drives corporate growth, leads brand and service line marketing and pursues new entrepreneurial lines of business. Heather is also active in the Mid-Atlantic investment community, currently serving as a board member of the Association for Corporate Growth, National Capital Region.
