Terry Ellis currently serves as Vice President, Government & Regulatory Affairs for Comcast Cable Communications Inc.. She is responsible for state government affairs in Virginia and West Virginia.
Terry brings more than 10 years of experience lobbying the Virginia General Assembly on behalf of the cable industry. Most recently, Terry was the VP of Government Operations for the Virginia Cable Telecommunications Association (VCTA) where she directed the development and implementation of annual legislative and regulatory priorities.
Prior to her time at the VCTA, Terry was Director of Advocacy and Community Relations for the American Lung Association of Virginia lobbying on issues such as tobacco use control, air quality control and lung disease prevention.
Terry is a past president of the Huguenot Trail Rotary Club and serves on the boards of the Virginia chapters of the YMCA and Women In Cable Television (WICT). She was appointed by Governor Terry McAuliffe to the 911 Services Board and is a 2017 recipient of the Virginia YMCA's Service to Youth Award.
Terry received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from East Carolina University. She and her husband, Jeremy, live in Sutherland, VA. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors, gardening and music.
