Technology, executive experience and technical acumen combine in NTT DATA's Public Sector President Tim Conway. At the helm of the global IT innovation company's public sector business since 2011, Conway's leadership has helped to steer and deliver technology enabled solutions for federal, state and local governments in the United States, Canada and Australia.
For close to three decades, Conway has leant his considerable talents to management and technology consulting in the public sector. As a veteran leader, Conway has developed a strong reputation for his passionate problem solving and commitment to reducing operational costs which make Conway a trusted resource throughout the public sector. Conway's vast and varied expertise includes a technology pedigree that is in high demand in today's IT marketplace. From program management to modernization, infrastructure and application development, Conway's forward-thinking technology solutions are a valuable asset to the clients that he serves.
Conway serves as president of Virginia Tech's National Capital Region Presidential Leadership Council and is a Board member of the Northern Virginia Technology Council. Conway was recently inducted into the "Wash 100," and with the acceptance of this prestigious honor, Conway joined an elite team of leaders that have dramatically impacted the way we work and live in the Washington, D.C. area.
Before joining the executive team at NTT DATA, Conway was executive vice president for Public Sector at Keane (acquired by NTT DATA in 2011). Early in his career, Conway held management and executive positions at Xerox (formerly ACS, Inc.), IBM, Lockheed Martin, and the Public Service Electric and Gas Company.
Conway holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia.
