Mid Atlantic Managing Partner

Terri McClements serves as the Mid Atlantic Managing Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC). In her current role, McClements leads a practice comprised of over 6,000 professionals serving public, private, and government clients and is responsible for bringing the PwC Purpose, 'to build trust in society and solve important problems' to life by delivering on the PwC brand promise with our clients, our people, and in our communities. She leads all lines of service - assurance, advisory and tax - spanning a geographic area that includes the District of Columbia, Northern Virginia, Richmond, Baltimore, Philadelphia and Harrisburg. Under her leadership since 2014, the market has grown at a CAGR of over 20%. Known as a transformative leader and innovative disruptor, McClements creates value and lasting impact with everything she leads.

McClements joined PwC in 1987 and became a partner in 1997. Since then, she has led at the market, regional, national, and global levels of the firm. Most recently she served as PwC's U.S. Human Capital Leader and Global Talent Leader, and as a member of the U.S. Leadership team. During her tenure as U.S. Human Capital leader, she led the most significant talent transformation efforts in the history of the firm, redefining how the firm attracts, develops, assesses and inspires talent. PwC's talent strategies were and continue to be consistently recognized as industry-leading by its people, others in the profession and the corporate community. Over the course of her career, McClements has advised top executives at Fortune 1000 companies across multiple industries, including telecommunications and technology, hospitality, aero-space and defense, entertainment and media, health services, financial services, and private equity.

McClements was recognized as one of Washingtonian's Most Powerful Women in 2017, Washington Business Journal's Power 100 in 2017 and 2015. In addition, Terri was recognized by the National Council for Research on Women as one of their Trailblazers, a designation given to those "who contribute to significant positive change in the lives of women and girls." In 2012, McClements received the Company and Executive Women Worth Watching award from the Profiles in Diversity Journal and was named one of the top 45 Business Leaders by the Adecco Group "Business Women's Leadership Tribute" in 2011 for her contributions to PwC and its people. She speaks extensively, and is a recognized expert, on a variety of topics including developing leaders, engaging employees, promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace and on the influence of "megatrends" (those market influences that will impact PwC's future, and the future of its clients, over the next decade).

McClements is currently on the boards of The Economic Club of Washington, D.C., Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts, Northern Virginia Technology Council, Federal City Council, Greater Washington Board of Trade, United Way of the National Capital Area and Global Cities Initiative - Greater Washington Steering Committee (past).
