The 5th Annual Business Alliance of George Mason University Bootcamp for Growing Companies and Entrepreneurs, held on April 4 at the Hilton McLean, attracted entrepreneurs including participants from The Entrepreneur Center @NVTC's Entrepreneur SOLUTIONS program and NVTC member organizations - several small businesses, educational institutions and companies that service entrepreneurs. The Entrepreneur Center was pleased to provide scholarships to students attending this informative day-long event.

Bootcamp participants had the opportunity to attend a variety of panel discussions that focused on important topics, such as Financing Your Business - Venture Capital and Alternative Sources, Marketing & Sales - Practical Tips for Growing Enterprises, Managing Your Growth, Opportunities in New Media, Web 2.0 and Telecom, and Opportunities in Government Contracting. The highlights of the day were the three keynote speeches by Philip McKinney, Vice President and CTO, Personal Systems Group, HP Company, Ted Leonsis, Vice Chairman Emeritus, AOL LLC, and Phillip Merrick, Chairman and Co-Founder, VisualCV.com.
