MIT Enterprise Forum Hosts Annual Gala

The MIT Enterprise Forum (MITEF) of Washington and Baltimore hosted its Annual Gala on January 29 that featured speakers John Burton, Co-Chair of The Entrepreneur Center @NVTC Advisory Board, NVTC Board Member and Updata Capital Managing Partner, and Jason Pontin, Publisher and Editor in Chief of Technology Review (MIT).

Burton discussed venture capital trends in the Mid-Atlantic and focused on the steps that entrepreneurs should take when seeking VC funding. Pontin told the audience about several exciting new technologies being developed by entrepreneurs throughout the United States that will soon change everyday life. Several of the technologies discussed could be introduced in the consumer market within the next several years.
