LAST CALL to Put Your Company on the 2010 Techtopia Map!

Spots Are Going, Going . . . Almost Gone!

There are just a few days left to stake your spot on the 2010 11th Edition of NVTC's Techtopia Map. Don't miss your opportunity to show where your company fits into the Northern Virginia tech community-and help a great cause at the same time! A portion of the Map proceeds will benefit the Equal Footing Foundation (www.efooting.org), which supports six computer clubhouses for underserved youth in Fairfax County.

Individual logo spots are available for technology companies or technology non-profits for just $1,000. There are also two remaining industry-exclusive major sponsorships for $4,000.

The map will be published in December 2009 and be distributed at an upcoming NVTC signature event. It will also appear in the Washington Business Journal and The Voice of Technology, in brochure format, and in an interactive version on the NVTC Web site, among other venues. Check out the online version of the 2009 Techtopia Map.

To reserve your spot or learn more, e-mail Michelle Senglaub at msenglaub@nvtc.org.

International Committee Welcomes Congressman Moran

Congressman Moran
NVTC's International Committee welcomed Congressman Jim Moran to its October 16th meeting. The Congressman discussed his recent visit throughout China to talk with Chinese government and business leaders about the U.S.-China business climate for 2010 and beyond. Congressman Moran was optimistic about the future of the Northern Virginia-China business outlook, particularly in the areas of technology and innovation, but also realistic about the obstacles that continue to exist. The audience engaged in an in-depth discussion with the Congressman and appreciated his perspective and willingness to engage with the Committee.
