NVTC Names Winners of the 2011 Government Contractor CTO Innovator Awards at TechCelebration

Last night during NVTC’s annual TechCelebration banquet, NVTC named the winners of the 2011 NVTC/Washington Technology Government Contractor CTO Innovator Awards. The CTO Innovator Awards recognize chief technology officers within the region's government contracting community for their critical contributions to achieving results for their customers and their leadership within their own companies.

This year's small company winner is Tim Hoechst of Agilex Technologies, recognized for his technical leadership, having developed many of the delivery processes responsible for Agliex’ 100 percent renewal rates and significant organic expansion. Midsize company winner Dr. H. Gilbert Miller of Noblis was awarded for his instrumental role in creating a public-private partnership to establish the Center for Applied High Performance Computing in Danville, Va. Neil Siegel of Northrop Grumman Information Systems took the large company award for positioning Northrop Grumman as a leading provider of technical innovation to the Department of Defense, as well as for the creation of the Blue-Force Tracker.
