Ernst & Young Names 2011 Entrepreneur of the Year Award Winners
NVTC Board member company Ernst & Young hosted its 25th annual Entrepreneur of the Year Greater Washington Awards program on Thursday, June 16. The awards are given to entrepreneurs who demonstrate extraordinary success in the areas of innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. The event was hosted by NVTC Board member and Entrepreneur Of The Year Greater Washington Program Director Rene Salas.
Congratulations to Richard Fairbank of NVTC member company Capital One Financial Corporation who was named Master Entrepreneur, and to Matt Desch of NVTC member company Iridium Communications Inc., the winner in the Telecommunications category. All regional honorees are invited to the Entrepreneur of the Year National Awards gala this November in Palm Springs, Calif.
NVTC members Sid Banerjee of Clarabridge, Michael P. Fitzgerald of Bank of Georgetown, Michael O'Neil of GetWellNetwork Inc., Joseph Payne of Eloqua Ltd., and Amit Yoran and Nick Lantuh of NetWitness were finalists for this year's awards.
