NVTC Veterans Employment Initiative and Five NVTC Members Honored at the 2018 Virginia Workforce Conference for Commitment to Hiring Virginia Veterans
On Tuesday, Sept. 25, the NVTC Veterans Employment Initiative (VEI) and five NVTC member companies and organizations were honored for their work and commitment to the hiring and creation of employment opportunities for Virginia’s military veterans. The special achievement awards were presented by Governor Ralph Northam at the 6th Annual V3 Awards Luncheon during the 2018 Virginia Workforce Conference, sponsored by the Virginia chamber of Commerce.

VEI was presented with the V3 Ambassador Award in recognition of VEI’s work in recruiting new partners to Virginia’s V3 program.
VEI is a partner of the Virginia Values Veterans (V3) program, a free training and certification program for companies to help them in the recruitment and hiring of veterans. Since 2012, nearly 36,000 veterans have been hired through the program.
